HISTORY OF LONG ISLAND
Dugi Otok is a Croatian island in northern Dalmatia.

Dugi otok has a very rich past. Evidence of this is the remains of buildings that you will come across almost all over the island.
The island was first mentioned by the Byzantine emperor Constantine VII Porphyrogenet in the 10th century. century, although it was inhabited much earlier.
